Have you ever followed all the steps, hit your goals, checked every box – yet still felt completely stuck? You’re not alone. I’ve been there, and I’ve coached hundreds of women who’ve felt the exact same way.
Here’s the truth: doing more isn’t always the answer. Sometimes, the real reason why you feel stuck is far more subtle and much easier to fix than you think.
Why You Feel Stuck Isn’t Because You’re Failing
You’re not broken. You’re not lazy. And you’re not falling behind.
Feeling stuck is usually a sign that something in your strategy is misaligned. What worked in the past got you here. But to get to the next level? You’ll need something different – usually not bigger, just smarter.
The Big Mistake I See Ambitious Women Make
Most people assume they need to scrap everything and start over. But when I wrote my upcoming book (coming May 2026), I dedicated a whole chapter to this:
Burning it all down isn’t necessary. A micro shift is.
Maybe it’s a small time block adjustment. Or one limiting belief you haven’t questioned yet. Often, it’s just one friction point that needs a tweak – not your whole life.
How to Pinpoint the Shift You Need
Here’s what I ask my coaching clients when they feel stuck:
- Are you tracking your time and energy?
- Do you know what actions are driving results?
- Are you reflecting on what’s working and what isn’t?
We don’t need massive data. We need useful data. That’s where my Recap Ritual™ comes in – a weekly journaling process where you reflect on wins, challenges, and lessons. It’s simple but powerful.
When you track consistently, you’ll spot patterns. You’ll know why you feel stuck and what exact moment things started to stall.
Use Data to Find Your Micro Pivot
Let’s say you’ve been spending 10 hours a week on a task that brings zero results. What if you redirected that time toward the one task that actually moves the needle?
That’s what I help women do in 1:1 coaching: track the right data, find the bottleneck, and create a clear action plan to move forward.
And no – you don’t need perfect “SMART” goals to do it. You just need momentum.
Your Stuck Point Is Just a Signal
The real reason why you feel stuck is that something in your current system no longer fits. The good news? You’re one micro pivot away from massive clarity.
If you’re not sure where to start, take my free Overwhelm Culprit Quiz. In less than 3 minutes, you’ll discover exactly what’s slowing you down – and how to fix it.

[00:00:00] Have you ever followed all of the steps, hit the goals, check the boxes, and still felt stuck?
You’re not alone. In today’s episode, I’m breaking down why this happens and how a tiny micro pivot could be that one thing that finally unlocks your momentum.
If you’ve been doing everything right but still feel like something’s missing, this is your wake up call.
My name is Corrie LoGiudice and I help ambitious individuals, especially women, take confident action that actually works because burnout’s not a strategy, right? We wanna avoid that. So subscribe if you’re ready to lead with clarity and not just keep chasing more.
So the funny thing is, when I wrote my book, which is coming out in May of 2026. When I wrote my upcoming book, I dedicated an entire chapter to this exact moment. The moment when you realize that doing more isn’t the answer
and most of the [00:01:00] time, truth is you’re not broken .
you’re just one decision away from a better direction. That’s the best way to look at it.
Here’s the truth about being stuck. Being stuck doesn’t mean that you’re failing. It just means that something’s misaligned, right?
So let’s break this down, what you’re doing that worked before. Simply, it’s not going to get you there. Why is this? It’s very, very simple. The actions you’re taking day in and day out today are sufficient to have you where you are at today. If you wanna get to the next level, it’s going to require you to action over and above what you were doing before, or IE doing now in order to break that plateau and move to the next level.
In short, you have to be willing to do what other people are not willing to do to get to that next level.
And where a lot of folks get tripped up with this is they feel that they need an entirely different strategy, right? It’s like, oh, I’m stuck. [00:02:00] What I’m doing hasn’t been working. Like let me break the whole thing and start over. This is a mistake, right? The problem is we wait for big signs, but the fix is usually actually a really, really tiny shift.
It doesn’t require you burning down the whole building and building it brand new. It requires you changing out one specific wall or one, doorway within the building to get a different result. It could be a different offer, a new time block, a mindset reframe. It’s usually a very, very tiny shift, right?
That makes a huge change in your outcome.
Now, the reason why it’s really difficult for people to see this, and it’s easier instead to just burn the building down and just scrap everything you’re doing is because most people aren’t tracking enough. To understand what needs to shift, right? So what do I mean by tracking? If you don’t have data on your time being spent, your energy that you’re [00:03:00] putting into it, your overall outcomes, it’s gonna be really hard to adjust, right?
Because ultimately, you’re leading blind, you have absolutely no information to show you where you need to head next. Which is why data tracking in business all the time, you hear folks talk about KPIs, key performance indicators, right? Data is key because that’s where you could see where your system is broken.
Not that you have to break down the whole thing and start over. It shows you where you need to start to make that one specific shift to be able to adjust.
So this is a method that I use not only for myself, but also with my coaching clients. You need to be able to track where that friction is. So some of the ways that we do this is whether it be like, if you’re in a business and you’re trying to track why you’re underperforming.
A lot of times it’s in those key performance indicators. It’s in those KPIs, but for an individual, a lot of times it’s within tiny tweaks and things that you’re doing day in and day out. So [00:04:00] I have a process that I usually walk clients through called the Recap Ritual™. Where it’s basically journaling prompts where every single week you’re writing down what your progress is.
You are like, what went well this week? What didn’t go well? What can I do better next time? So very, very simple journaling prompts, but when done with consistency over a cadence. When you do get stuck in a situation like this, you can look back at your last couple of weeks of entries and look to see like, oh, okay, well for the last three or so weeks, I’ve had the same result doing this specific thing, so maybe that’s where I need to do that little micro tweak.
A lot of times you could find it in your data. It could be time tracking information that you’re spending too much time on one specific task that isn’t generating any results for you. If you free up that specific time to do the tasks that are generating results, you can then end up 10 xing your results.
Or it could be something as simple as, [00:05:00] tracking your macros, you know, if you’re trying to lose weight, you need to be tracking your progress and have a way to do so where, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be tied to numbers, right? I think a lot of folks get really tripped up with smart goals that they need to be, measurable and time bound and yada, yada, yada.
Like, who cares? That doesn’t matter as much so much as that you are making regular efforts to write down and document your process, whether that be through taking photos before and after photos. It could be just journaling, it could be entering numbers and KPIs you need to track.
Because when you do track and you look at the differences between weeks over time, it makes it so much easier to see what that tiny change needs to be. So remember, you’re not stuck, right? You just need to make one tiny shift.
So I’d love to know where are you feeling stuck right now, even though you’re doing everything right. I wanna hear your stories, drop them in the comments.
